JUST WHAT I NEEDED THIS WEEK!!!!!  Started out Monday by ramming my little toe into a piece of furniture....looked down and said 'What the heck is that white thing sticking out of my foot at a 90 degree angle'....- then I realized it was my TOE.  Luckily I had Birkenstock thong sandals on ( I know, I know-the Dr. wanted to know how I could ram my toe when I had  sandals on).  Finally got the shoe unbuckled so I could remove it...thinking maybe the toe was dislocated.   STILL DID NOT HURT - until I tried to push it back where it belonged-then the TOE LOOKED AT ME AND SAID ....ARE YOU CRAZY!!!!.  Off we got to ER treatment at 8 am.  I have a SPIRAL break and they tell me I may need surgery and a pin in the toe....I say I can't deal with that-I am having a GOING OUT OF BUSINESS SALE.  Off to Orthopedic surgeon who tapes it to it's 'buddy' toe-isn't that cute! and puts me in a fracture boot.  New X-ray shows toe holding on and staying in place so they say no surgery or pin and come back in 2 weeks and STAY OFF THE FOOT.  Yeh-right!!!!

I loooovvveee the pain pills and a good night's sleep.
